Odzyskawszy pełną kontrolę nad firmą Gabriel Voisin rozpoczął pracę nad nowym projektem luksusowego samochodu z rzędowym silnikiem 12-cylindrowym. Zaprezentowany w lutym pojazd bazuje na C28 Aérosport. Silnik powstał z połączenia dwóch jednostek 6-cylindrowych. V12 L oznacza Voisin 12 en Ligne (Voisin 12 w rzędzie).
 Pojazd zaprezentowany podczas salonu w Paryżu w październiku miał zaplombowaną maskę i znajdował się tam tylko przez kilka godzin. Nadwozie bazuje na modelu Aérosport ze zmienionym wlotem powietrza i większym o 15 centymetrów rozstawem osi.

 Wobec trudnej sytuacji ekonomicznej we Francji kosztowne samochody Voisina z trudem znajdują nabywców. Nowe modele 12-cylindrowe kosztują 125000 i 130000 franków - prawie dwa razy więcej niż ekskluzywne Delage. Sprzedaż modeli 6-cylindrowych również jest niezadowalająca. Gabriel Voisin próbuje ratować sytuację sprzedając część firmy.

 Being now in full control of his company Gabriel Voisin launches a new project. A car powered by a spectacular 12-cylinder in-line engine. Announced in February the car is derived from the Aérosport and the engine is made of two 6-cylinder units joined together. The first prototype was based on two 13 CV C14 engines with a total displacement of 4.6 litres. The final model V12 L is made of 3-litre engines of the C25 giving nearly 200 bhp. The V12 L stands for Voisin 12 en Ligne (Voisin 12 in-line).
 The car dispalyed at the Paris Motor Show in October impresses visitors with the "12-cylinder in line" sign on its imposing but unfortunately locked bonnet. Derived from the Aérosport the twelve-cylinder Type V 12 L is distinguishable by its grille inclined and its wheelbase extended by 15 centimeters.

 In view of the difficult economic situation in France expensive Voisin cars proving almost unsaleble. The new 12-cylinder models cost 125,000 and 130,000 Francs - almost two times more than the exclusive Delage. Sales of the 6-cylinder models is also unsatisfactory. Gabriel Voisin is trying to save the situation by selling part of the company.
