It was designed, developed and will be produced in the National Corporation Tatra Kopřivnice and here is exposed for the first time. Originally had a name Tatra Autoplan but thanks to the graphic artist who shortened the name it was launched on the market under the name Tatraplan. As an artist of cooperative advertising studio B&R, František Kardaus was commissioned to design bodywork, brochures, advertisments and premiere exposition at the first Czechoslovak postwar motor show.
