Last year, Tatra became famous for its first twelve-cylinder engine, which is now also available in a 6-cylinder version with 65 hp.
The greatest sensation of this year's Autosalon in Prague was the new four-cylinder model Tatra 57 costing only 24,600 crowns. It is conceived as the successor of the two-cylinder "Twelve". The air-cooled four-cylinder unit with a capacity of 0.99 l and 17 HP and the chassis concept with independent suspension at the front and rear without a traditional frame follows the firm tradition. The closed body has a folding roof à la Cabriolet, a standard trunk accessible from inside of the car. The appearance of the car is simple but elegant. The price ranges from 24600 to 26800 CZK for a four-seater.
The other air-cooled, four-cylinder models has been modernized and now includes two types: the "54" with 1.46 l. 5/26 HP and the "52" 1.91 l. 8/30 HP.
The two-cylinder model Tatra, which has been so successful in recent years, remains as a cheaper alternative.

W zeszłym roku Tatra zasłynęła swoim pierwszym dwunastocylindrowym silnikem, który teraz dostępny jest także w wersji 6-cylindowej o mocy 65 KM.
Największą sensacją tegorocznego Autosalonu w Pradze były nowe, czterocylindrowe modele Tatry. Samochód ludowy Tatra 57 za 24 600 koron pomyślany jest jako następca dwucylindrowej "Dwunastki". Chłodzona powietrzem czterocylindrowa jednostka o pojemności 0,99 l i mocy 17 HP oraz koncepcja podwozia z niezależnym zawieszeniem z przodu i z tyłu bez tradycyjnej ramy odpowiadają Kopřivnicej tradycji. Zamknięte nadwozie ma składany dach à la Cabriolet i standardowy bagażnik dostępny z wnętrza samochodu. Wygląd samochodu jest prosty, ale elegancki. Cena waha się od 24600 do 26800 CZK za samochód czteromiejscowy.
Napędzane sprawdzonym, chłodzonym powietrzem czterocylindrowym silnikem modele został zmodernizowane i obejmują dwa typy: „54” 1,46 l. 5/26 KM i „52” 1,91 l. 8/30 KM.
Dwucylindrowy model Tatra, który odniósł ogromny sukces w ostatnich latach, pozostaje w ofercie jako tańsza alternatywa.
