SKODA S110L
£764 (incl. P.T.)
The rear-engined Skoda, made in Czechoslovakia, is one of a small band of cars that come from Eastern countries at highly competitive prices as far as size and specification are concerned. This one for example is a well-equipped five-seater at a shade under the price of the Mini Clubman. The engine is a water-cooled 1107 c.c. unit driving the rear wheels. Suspension is on coil springs with swing axles at rear and wishbones at the front. There is a twin-circuit brake system and equipment includes seats that fold down to make a bed and four-speed windscreen wipers.
