Produkcja Aronde ruszyła pełną parą. Zmieniono tylny most, akumulator został przeniesiony z pod siedzenia pod maskę a nadwozia pokrywane są lakierem syntetycznym. Nowa jest też tapicerka a ogrzewanie stanowi wyposażenie seryjne.
Na salonie paryskim pokazano pięć wersji nadwoziowych: sedan, który teraz nazywa się Luxe, kombi, furgon oraz całkowicie nowe coupe Grand Large i kabriolet Plein Ciel.
W kwietniu dokonano modernizacji modeli Sport, zaopatrując je w mechanikę Aronde. Powstało 68430 sztuk Aronde i 598 Sport..

FIRST RECORDS OF ARONDE To boost sales of its new Aronde, Mr. Pigozzi made attempts to regain endurance records he had only welcomed before the war with Simca 8. On August 16, 1952, a standard Aronde challenged na Austin A-40 which two years earlier had covered in Montlhéry 10,000 miles in 10,000 minutes. The Aronde travels more than 50,000 km at average 117 km/h and wins five international records. In fact the attempt had to be stopped at 52 000 km on breakage of a the steering.
