1½-Litre Saloon

1½-Litre RMA to całkowicie nowy model zaprezentowany we wrześniu. Silnik z dwoma wałkami rozrządu w kadłubie montowany jest do ramy pomocniczej. Są to tradycyjne cechy konstrukcyjne Rileya. Poza tym wszystko jest nowe. Przednie koła zawieszone są niezależnie na drążkach skrętnych. Z tyłu zastosowano oś skrętną z dwoma resorami piórowymi. Hamulce hydro-mechaniczne.

Riley introduced an entirely new and most attractive post-war model in September 1945. The engine is not much different from that of the pre-war 1½-Litre unit giving 54 bhp and a top speed of 75 mph. The new chassis features Torsionic IFS with torsion bars. Rear suspension is by semi elliptics with a torque tube axle, and brakes are hydro-mechanical. The body, too, is of an entirely new design. Cubic capacity of the engine is 1496 cc. Wheelbase is 9 ft 4½ in.
