PANTHER DE VILLE £21,965
Built in the style of the classic cars of the 'twenties and 'thirties, the Panther de Ville bears more than a passing resemblance to the Bugatti Royale. With a length of more than 518 cm, the mighty four-door saloon is powered by a 12-cylinder Jaguar engine, and the transmission is automatic. The interior is trimmed in the manner of the spacious days, with Connolly hide, Wilton carpeting, polished burr walnut, and every luxury item. lt isn't all vintage, for such modernities as air-conditioning, electrically operated windows, and power steering are standard equipment.

The Panther Rio uses Triumph Dolomite mechanics. According to the company, it differs from the family saloon-class Dolomite, in being finished to "Rolls-Royce standards".

PANTHER FERRARI F.F. £13,500 approx.
Great sports cars of the 1930s are not the only ones to excite the nostalgia of rich enthusiasts. The early post-war classics are now a generation away, so Panther have produced this recollection of the great open sports Ferraris, based on a genuine 1968 Ferrari 330 GTC chassis. The body is of hand beaten aluminium, the upholstery is real leather, and the performance, with 300 horse-power on tap - ! !

PANTHER J 72 from £7,729
Rejecting glass fibre and other short cuts, Panther produce a road sports car in the style of the 1930s, hand made by craftsmen in a way almost forgotten. The body is hand beaten aluminium; trim is leather, burr walnut and mohair. The old-style chassis has a chromium plated front axle and the rear axle has a limited slip differential. Jaguar provide the engines; sixes or V12s.
