OLDSMOBILE OMEGA £3,800 APPROX.
A new model, small by Oldsmobile standards, the Omega has a boldly divided grille and recessed headlamps. It represents a return to six-cylinder engines by Oldsmobile who abandoned them last year in favour of an all-V8 range. Suspension is by coil springs all round, with a rigid axle at the rear and the basic specification is the usual American: very basic, with drum brakes and three-speed gearbox.
