Safe and predictable, the dependable old MGB holds its own against more modern designs, especially in the U.S.A. The coupe and convertible have smooth lines that don't date, current models are quieter and interior layout is much improved. Overdrive is a worthwhile option and special tuning kits are available. Facia fresh air vents, rocker switches and new colour schemes are among recent improvements.
