MkII from 1967 has body revisions of Austin / Morris, Walnut veneer dash with round instruments. 1300 from late 1967 takes over from 1100, four door is discontinued.
New is the MG-C with body identical to the MG-B, equipped with the six-cylinder three-liter engine of the Austin-Healey 3000 under the high-arched bonnet. The suspension has been adapted to the much higher performance, and even a fully automatic transmission is available for this car.
