Bagheera jest w tym roku oferowana w trzech wersjach. Podstawowy model ma silnik o pojemności 1,3 litra i kosztuje 37200 franków. Większy silnik pochodzi z Simci 1308 GT i montowany jest w modelu S, za który trzeba zapłacić 40730 franków. Na końcu skali znajduje się lakierowany wyłącznie na biało Courrèges, sygnowany przez znanego projektanta mody, w cenie 43.510 franków.
W marcu, na salonie w Genewie zaprezentowano pół-terenową Matrę Rancho. Samochód zbudowany jest na podwoziu Simci 1100 furgon za wzmocnionym zawieszeniem. Tylna część nadwozia wykonana jest poliestru wzmacnianego włóknem szklanym. Wydaje się że modelem tym Matra trafia w lukę na rynku, oferując znacznie wyższy komfort, osiągi i możliwości przewozowe niż podobne modele Citroëna lub Renault.
Jesienią Bagheera Courrèges została zastąpiona modelem Bagheera X.
W tym roku firma wyprodukowała 12094 samochody, w tym 8021 Bagheery i 4073 Rancho.
