Aprilia ma samonośne nadwozie, niezależne zawieszenie wszystkich kół i hydrauliczne hamulce. Produkcję rozpoczęto w lutym. Do końca roku powstało 5128 egzemplarzy.

Na Salonie brukselskim, technicy mogli obejrzeć podwozie małej nowej Lancii z 4-o cylindrowym silnikiem o pojemności 1,330 litra z wiszącymi zaworami. W Paryżu wóz ten był wystawiony tylko skarosowany. Podwozie to z prasowanej blachy od spodu jest zupełnie płaskie i ma tylko otwory na spust oleju lub smaru. Widzimy tam ponadto pomysłowe rozwiązanie tylnego' mostu o półosiach, podtrzymujących bębny hamulcowe, które nie są przymocowane na stałe do piast kół.

On the 15 February Vincenzo Lancia died, before seeing the assembly of his last creation the Aprilia.

The production of the Astura series IV (model 241) started in January. The short wheel base version disappeared from the list and the new model has been extended to 347.5 cm. This new models is now equipped with hydraulic brake system but it is much heavier then before which dramatically affected performance. 2143 examples of series III were built, 908 of which were 233L (lungo) and 335 were 233C (corto).

Aprilia Lusso

The production commenced on February 24th and 5128 were built this year.
March saw the launch of the chassis designed for coachbuilders. The specifications are the same as the saloon with the exception of a longer wheelbase: 2850mm instead of 2750mm and different final drive gear ratio.
In August the base model was joined by 'Lusso' version with better upholstery and running boards, this extends the with of the body by 3cm. 700 examples of this version were built this year.
Ardenees is an Aprilia built in France. The only difference being bigger headlights.
