Zmiany w rozrządzie i gaźnikach zaowocowały zwiększeniem mocy silnika zmodernizowanej Miury P400SV. Zmieniono obramowania reflektorów, tylne lampy i tylne błotniki.

The LP500 (Longitudinale Posteriore 5-litre) was first shown to the public as a concept car at the Geneva Motorshow. The Miura chassis is largely retained, but the motor is turned through 90 degrees to be mounted longitudinally and the body is a radical new design by Gandini (Bertone). The engine is a 5-litre development of the Miura V12, with 440bhp. The gearbox is positioned in front of the engine with a drive shaft passing through the sump to the final drive which is at the rear.

LAMBORGHINI URACCO Estimated price: £6,000 (incl. P.T.)
Bertone styled this superb four-seater from Lamborghini, the Italian company that used to be known for its tractors. This sleek offering has a transverse V8 of 2463 c.c.s, with belt driven single overhead camshaft and no less than four twin-choke Webers. The result is an output of 220 b.h.p. at 7,800 revs and a claimed maximum of about 150 miles an hour. Transmission is integral with the engine and there is a five-speed gearbox. Suspension is independent all around by MacPherson strut and the brakes are ventilated discs. Inside is luxurious with air conditioning available.
