Based on the mechanical elements of the Hillman Hunter, the Humber Sceptre from Chrysler UK is designed for the fastidious motorist. Powered by a special 82 bhp version of the 1725 cc engine, there is also a four-speed gearbox with overdrive on third and top as standard equipment. The six-speed Sceptre has a maximum approaching 100 mph, with internal appointment in the limousine class. Seats are trimmed in topquality cloth, there are burr walnut cappings for facia, console, and doors, and carpets are thick. The estate is finished and equipped in like manner.
