Since its last win in 1950 Hotchkiss has no luck in Monte-Carlo rallye competition. In 1951 they finished 31st, in 1952 59th. This year was no better. Cohade et Monjo finished 35th and the two veterans is this race - Worms and Mouche (no. 27) were 67th.
