Grégoire z nadwoziem kabriolet zaprojektowanym przez Chaprona został po raz pierwszy zaprezentowany na Międzynarodowym Salonie Samochodów Sportowych zorganizowanym w styczniu w muzeum Forda w Dearborn. Samochód wzbudził spore zaciekawienie prasy motoryzacyjnej ale ze względu na wysoką cenę i brak zaplecza serwisowego spotkał się z chłodnym przyjęciem.
W październiku na salonie w Paryżu pokazano kabriolet i coupe. Oba wyceniono na 3,5 miliona franków. To 3,5 raza więcej niż najdroższy Citroën DS! Na domiar złego cena ta nie pokrywa nawet kosztów budowy, który wynosi około 4,3 miliona...

Grégoire's cabriolet with bodywork designed by Chapron was first presented at the International Sports Car Show held in January at the Ford Museum in Dearborn. The car aroused considerable curiosity but due to its high price and lack of service facilities met with a cool reception. 
At Paris Motor Show in October Grégoire shows the convertible and the coupe, both with the price tag at 3.5 million francs. This is 3.5 times more than the most expensive Citroën DS! On the downside, this price does not even cover the cost of construction, which is approximately 4.3 million ...
