GINETTA G21
3-litre: £2,650
1800: £1,975
Built in Suffolk, the handsome GRP-bodied Ginetta G21 is available in four or six-cylinder form, the former being the less expensive of the two models. The 1800 has the well-proven Sunbeam Rapier engine, whereas the 3-litre is powered by the ubiquitous Ford V6 motor as fitted to Capri and Granada models. The 130 m.p.h. 3-litre is all-independently sprung, and has disc brakes on all four wheels, but the 1800 has a live rear axle and disc-drum brakes. Reclining seats and laminated safety-glass windscreens are standard on both models. The bodies are mounted on separate steel chassis.
