Wersje Vedette Coupé i cabriolet pojawiły się w katalogach, ale ich produkcję zakończono już pod koniec ubiegłego roku.
Abeile zyskała nieco na wyglądzie zyskując kilka chromowanych ozdób. W stosunku do modelu 1952 zmieniona jest też tylna klapa.
Comète z silnikiem o większej pojemności i mocy osiąga teraz zadowalającą prędkość 145 km/godz. Poprawiły się też przyspieszenia i elastyczność. Zaprezentowany w zeszłym roku kabriolet nie wszedł do produkcji. Powstały tylko dwa egzemplarze.
Francuskie Fordy objęte są roczną gwarancją limitowaną przebiegiem 50000 kilometrów. żaden inny producent na tamtejszym rynku nie oferuje takiej gwarancji.

Październikowy salon w Paryżu przyniósł kilka nowości. Największą z nich jest Vendôme napędzany silnikiem o pojemności prawie 4 litrów. W Ameryce napędza on Forda Crestline; jest też stosowany w pojazdach ciężarowych. Zapewnia on rewelacyjne przyspieszenia i doskonałą elastyczność. Prędkość maksymalna sięga 150 km/godz. Podwozie jest w zasadzie identyczne z Vedette i hamulce ledwie dają sobie radę z osiągami. Ciężki silnik pogorszył nieco zachowanie w ciasnych zakrętach. Nadwozie różni się wlotem powietrza i dodatkowym ornamentem na masce. Progi ozdobione są eleganckimi nakładkami. Inne są też tylne lampy z automatycznym światłem cofania. Całość uzupełnia bardziej komfortowe wnętrze z bogatszym wyposażeniem.
Przyszłoroczna Vedette różni się zaledwie kilkoma szczegółami wystroju. Najbardziej widoczne są dłuższe listwy ozdobne na bokach nadwozia.
Abeile otrzyma nowy wlot powietrza, taki sam jak Vedette.

The Vedette for next year differ only by a few details of the decor. The most visible are longer trim strips on the sides of the body. 
Abeile receives a new air intake, the same as Vedette.
