Sales of the smallest type 132 slows down and production was stopped in July. Only just over 100 of them were sold between 1934 and 1936.
In spring the 4-cylinder 134 becomes 134 N (new) with more power achieved by fitting a new carburettor and wheel base extended by 9 cm. Since October last year this models has new, perforated wheels and a grille with painted surround.
The 6-cylinder 138 with longer chassis was launched at Paris Show last year. Like the 4-cylinder models since October '35 it has painted grille and new wheels.
135 sports models benefits from lower and longer chassis. The range is extended with Compétition model powered by larger engine with three carburettors. This model is also available on request with the chassis shortened to 270 cm and not to be confused with a limited series (16 ex.) of the 135 Special also with 270 cm wheelbase but built exclusively for sport competition.
At the Paris Motor Show in October Delahaye lauched the new type 148 which replaces the 138. It is built on an all-new 335 cm wheelbase chassis with hydraulic brakes. Initally available as a spacious saloon and limousine built by Autobineau and obviously in bare chassis for coachbuilt.
Also new are lower bodies for the smaller 134N, a Cotal optional gearbox, which replaces the preselctive Wilson.
The 135 rangs has been revised and next year will be available as 18 CV Sport and 20 CV Compétition, both with 3-carbutettor option.

This sensational aerodynamic 135 roadster was designed by Géo Ham and built by Figoni & Falaschi on a short-wheelbase Compétition chassis of 270 cm. A very avant-garde model is distinguished by its integrated headlights and its very enveloping tapered wings covering almost completely all four wheels. This car attracted attention of the Aga Khan during his visit to the Grand Palais. He acquired it after having asked to have it repainted more discreetly the day after the Salon. On the Delahaye stand, the 135 Grand Sport roadster sports had indeed rather showy colors: orange and ivory.
