Cournil 1967

A thousandth vehicle left Bernard Cournil's little workshop this year. He is now employing fifty workers and slowly becoming known outside his home district Cantal. "Tractor Cournil" is capable of virtually anything that his owner demands: towing heavy loads, fording and even ploughing. It is highly prized for its robustness, economy, easy maintenance and ability to do even the hardest jobs but criticized for operating noise, uncomfortable seats, harsh gear change and ineffective brakes. Addressing those complains Cournil now offers extra optional cushioned seats and heating.
