BUICK SKYHAWK £3,500 approx.
Really moving into a new era of smaller cars, Buick stresses that the Skyhawk 2+2 sports coupe has a wheelbase 14 inches shorter than that of their "compact" Apollo. Overall length is 21 inches less and weight is down by 600 lb. Power unit is a V6 giving 110 b.h.p., modest by American standards. This engine, designed in 1961 has been bought back after being sold to Willys.
