Tegoroczne
nadwozia Buicków inspirowane są prototypem XP-300 i
limitowanym Skylarkiem. Wynikiem 531.463
sprzedanych egzemplarzy firma zajęła trzecie miejsce wśród
dywizji General Motors.
Prototyp Wildcat z nadwoziem z tworzyw
sztucznych napędzany jest standardowym silnikiem V8 Buicka o
pojemności 322 cu. in, dzięki zastosowaniu czterech gaźników
rozwijającym moc 220 KM. "Venti-ports" - znak

Stoisko
General Motors w Genewie.

Wildcat
II at Chicago Motor Show
First
shown in 1954, the Wildcat II features portholes atop the hood,
freestanding headlights, chromed and louvered front fender liners,
plus twin spotlights that flank the panoramic windshield. Smallest
Buick built, only 48-inches tall, and rolling on a 100-inch
wheelbase. Under the sculpted hood sit a 220 horsepower, 322 cubic
inch V-8 with four carburetors, which enables the Wildcat II to hit
over 100 miles per hour.
