When the Auburn Automobile Company closed it's doors in 1937 the remaining parts were purchased by Dallas Winslow and Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Company was formed offering spare parts and services to Auburn, Cord and Duesenberg owners. Later this enterprize was purchased by Glenn Pray, who in 1964 offered a scaled down copy of the original Cord.
This modernised version of the Auburn Speedster is not just a cheap plastic copy. Launched in August car is based on an original body and uses some original Auburn parts. The car rests on a Ford chassis, which is extended to 127 inches.
