Andreau 1939

Autorem tego niezwykłego trójkołowca jest Jean Andreau, który trzy lata temu zaprojektował areodynamiczne studium Peugeota 402. Jest on wynikiem konkursu na najlepszy prototyp samochodu przyszłości, ogłoszonego w roku 1935 przez francuskie stowarzyszenie inżynierów Société des ingénieurs de l'automobile. Trójkołowiec napędzany jest silnikiem Citroena i ma kierowane tylne koło. Największym jego atutem jest aerodynamiczne nadwozie zapewniające doskonałe osiągi przy bardzo niskim zużyciu paliwa.

This unusual three-wheeler is designed by Jean Andreau, who three years ago created areodynamic study on the Peugeot 402. The prototype is the result of the competition for the best concept of a car of the future, announced in 1935 by the Société des ingénieurs de l'automobile (Society of Automotive Engineers). The tricycle is powered by Citroen engine and has steering on the rear wheel. Its greatest asset is the aerodynamic body which providea an excellent performance with very low fuel consumption.
