The new 5CV type C3 Grand Luxe models has new front wings replacing earlier motorcycle-type ones and the wheel base is enlarged by about 10 cm. Engine capacity has incresed by larger bore (58 vs 59 mm).
The 7CV Type M3 was launched in 1931 and continues without significant changes, joined by larger-engined 9 CV Type M4. It has three rather than two crankshaft bearings and ignition coil, distributor and battery instead of magneto used on the smaller models.

W instalacji elektrycznej zastosowano akumulator, cewkę i rozdzielacz zapłonu zamiast magneta.

Amilcars for 1933.

For many years now Jose Scaron has kept the Amilcar flag flying in road races, and has innumerable 1,100 c.c. class wins to his credit. For 1933 he will continue to represent the Amilcar concern, and is preparing two single seater roller bearing cars which he will enter for most of the big races. The cars will be brought to Montihery shortly for final preparations, and a speed of 125 m.p.h. is confidently expected.

Amilcar Records.

For some time the 6 cylinder Amilcar owned by the Swedish driver, Henken Widengren has been steadily increasing speed. The man responsible for this efficiency is R. F. Oats, and his efforts were suitably rewarded recently when the car broke several records in Class G (up to 1,100 c.c.) on the Montlhéry autodrome, Paris.
Widengren's recores are as follows: 50 kilometres, 113.70 m.p.h.; 50 miles, 113.67 m.p.h.; 100 kilometres, 113.91 m.p.h.; 100 miles, 114.89 m.p.h.; 200 kilometres, 115.56 m.p.h.; 1 hour, 115.32 m.p.h. The previous records stood to the credit of F. Dixon (Riley) at the following speeds:-109.18 m.p.h.; 110.37 m.p.h.; 110.78 m.p.h.; 111.09 m.p.h.; 110.67 m.p.h. and 110.93 m.p.h. Widengren used Dunlop tyres and Castrol oil.
