AC 3000 ME Price to be announced
Exciting mid-engined sports coupé from the old-established Thames Ditton manufacturer has been a long time reaching production, but AC Cars are confident that supply problems should be overcome this year. The highly-aerodynamic two-seater has its three-litre Ford V6 motor mounted transversely behind driver and passenger, and the gearbox has five speeds to exploit the very high performance. Bodywork is of reinforced glass-fibre but there is a steel centre-section to add extra stiffness. The profile is wedge-shaped to provide aerodynamic downforce and stability at high speed, and the headlights retract.
