2-Litre - new model 

AC Cars Ltd of Thames Ditton in Surrey, launched their new post-war model in March 1947. Apart from the pre-war 15.7 HP 1991-cc (65 x 100 mm) OHCengine it is entirely new. The brakes are Girling hydro-mechanical, i.e. hydraulic front and mechanical rear with 12-in drums and the suspension is conventional (non-independent) with leaf springs front and rear. Wheelbase is 9 ft 9 in and the engine, which have three SU carburettors and an output of 74 bhp, drive through a four-speed gearbox. Price £1.277.
