Abarth fitted a 982cc engine into the 600D bodyshell, creating the 1000. This had 60bhp as standard, but a 66bhp version with disc brakes at the rear and a five-speed gearbox was also made for motorsport. The latter had a compression ratio of 12.8:1!
Derived from the Fiat 600 D, Abarth 850 TC provides high performance. High copmression, slightly enlarged engines gives up to 57 b.h.p., comparing to only 29 b.h.p. in the fiat 600. Independent front and rear suspension, front disc brakes.Top speed up to 155 km/h.

Fiat Abarth 1000 Bialbero
Sports coupe with 1000 c.c. two-camshaft engine based on Fiat 600D. 2 Weber double carburetors, 4-speed gearbox with various ratios. Independent front and rear suspension, Girling four-wheel disc brakes. Compression ratio 10.8:1. Top speed 215 km/h.
Sport coupe similar to the Monomille with 700 c.c. engine with two over-head camshafts, 4- or 5-speed gearbox, drum brakes with discs on request. Compression ratio 10.3:1. Top speed 180 km/h.

A new model derived from the Fiat 2300. Coupe and cabriolet bodies by Ellena. 2.3-litre engine. 3 Weber double carbs, 4 speed normal gearbox, Girling disc brakes on 4 wheels.
