TRIUMPH TOLEDO £1,055
Triumph is getting some good mileage out of the body of the old front-drive 1300. With new front and two or four doors it equips the front-engine rear-drive Toledo 1300 or 1500. With longer trunk it acts for the front-wheel drive 1500 sold on the home market only. With long trunk, front 1854 c.c. engine and rear drive, you have the Dolomite.

TRIUMPH 2500 PI Mk. 2 £1,995
Re-styled front and rear ends gave a longer line to the Michelotti designed bodies of both 2000 and the 2500 and the main distinguishing features are now the wheel discs. Suspension is all-independent by coil springs and power-assistance is available for the rack and pinion steering. The smooth six-cylinder engine gives a high cruising speed. Laycock overdrive is optional.
TRIUMPH 2000 ESTATE £2,071
The luxuriously finished Triumph six-cylinder station wagon is available in two forms; 2000 with twin carburetters and 2500 with fuel injection. The basic design goes back nearly ten years but there has been a "face lift", giving a longer, sleeker line and the interior has been much improved. Rear suspension was an early example of the popular oblique wishbones with coil springs.

TRIUMPH SPITFIRE £1,053
Typical of the reasonably-priced sports cars in which Britain has specialised for so long, the Spitfire has been continuously improved over the years. Deeper windscreen, new instrument panel and more comfortable seats with anti-tip locks are recent developments and handling is much improved by an ingenious method of pivoting the rear spring to combat oversteer effects from the swing axles.

TRIUMPH STAG £2,399
Bodywork styled by Michelotti gives stag owners a three-way option. With top and windows down it is an open sports roadster with the protection of a padded roll-over cage. Soft top and side windows give weather protection and there is the option of a metal hard top to clamp on for the winter. A safety switch stops the fuel pump in an accident.
