Triumph continued their 1800 Saloon, Series 18T and 1800 Roadster, Series 18TR, with virtually no changes until October when the Roadster was fitted with the same 2088-cc engine and three-speed gearbox as the Standard Vanguard. It is redesignated the 2000 Roadster, Series 20TR.


Pod koniec roku przedwojenny silnik 1,8 Triumpha został w Roadsterze zastąpiony jednostką Standarda Vanguard. Powstalo 2501 sztuk 18 TR.
