Neuen Röhr-Werke were shut down in March. Stoewer desperately needs to increase sales, thus the Grief-Junior was introduced in the autumn. Production facilities and Tatra licence was bought from the bankrupt Röhr.
The R 150 received again a new, more streamlined body but in April it was replaced by the R 180..

In April the R 180 replaced the R 150 with the much stronger 1.8 liter engine but only lasted until August.
