Just one year after its launch the Popular underwent some major refinements. The chassis has longer wheel base - 243 vs. 235 cm. The suspension is all independent as before but the rear gained wider track, increased from 105 to 110 cm. All that gave much more room for rear seat passengers. All three bodies has been completely redesigned with aerodynamics and occupants comfort in mind. The engine remains the same, but it gained a new carburetter, mechanical fuel pump and a filter. The petrol tank capacity grew from 20 to 26 litres. The gearbox is three speed with synchromesh on 2nd and 3rd. The two-door saloon called Tudor is 377 cm long, 136 cm wide, 150 cm high and weights 720 kg.
