An old design, with rear engine and swing axle rear suspension, the Skoda has been up-dated with cleaner styling and better trim. The latest version gains increased performance from higher compression and a twin-choke carburettor. Iron Curtain export pricing makes it a lot of car for the money, with intermittent wipers, radial ply tyres, vinyl roof and fold-away rear seat.
