Tama Motors Co of Tachikawa, a former aircraft company which had made small Datsun ­based electric cars from 1947 to 1951 introduced a conventional four-door saloon with 1½-litre four-cylinder engine, named the Prince with the permission of Crown Prince Akihito. The car has fully synchronised gearbox, independent front suspension and De Dion rear axle.
