The Z-104 engine 4.6 litre (other versions were 3.9 and 4.4 litres), rode the new Pegaso Z-103, was the more mature, simple and reliable. Gave 300 bhp at 5,500 rpm.

Z-104, principle should be a car four doors and five seats with V-8 engine. But thought using Z-102 with new Z-104 engine to test it. Thus the Z-103 was born. Engines were prepared with three different capacities: 3.9, 4.45 and 4.68 litres. The Z-103 with 4.68 litre motor was presented at the Paris Salon in 1955, with a Peter Serra spider bodywork and became the most powerful sports market. Later the representation of 4 doors and 5.25 m sedan Z-104 project is abandoned, and never sees the light.
