Hydra-Matic Drive and Power Steering are optional available on all models. 98 Convertible and Holicay Coupé are equiped with hydraulically controlled side windows and seat adjusters. All models now have 12 volt electrical system. Oldsmobile Fiesta is a limited production custom convertible on the Ninety-Eight chassis. Only 458 were produced. Oldsmbile's masterpiece, the Starfire, emphasizes the long, low look characterized by many of the recent GM prototypes. Built of Fiberglass, the special convertible Coupé utilizes a distinctive Checkerboard-type grille, intergral bumper, cut-down door-line, and bullet-like plastic shields over the headlights. Many of the Starfire's innovations, like the panoramic windshield, may eventually find their way into production. The car is powered by a 200-horsepower Oldsmbile V-8 engine. |
