New also was the Swiss Monteverdi produced by ex-racing driver Peter Monteverdi. This is a big 2+2 designed by Frua with box-type frame, de Dion rear axle and adjustable shock absorbers front and rear. The Monteverdi has a 7.2 litre Chrysler V-8 engne and will be available with 375 or 400 bhp. The car is manufactured by Automobile Monteverdi, Binningen-Basel, Oberwilerstrasse 14-20.
