Magnette Mk IV

MG Midget Series GAN Mk II Sports. In line with the development of the Austin-Healey Sprite this new version of the Midget announced in March features a curved windscreen, push button door handles, fully winding windows with hinged quarter lights, a 3-spoke steering wheel and revised facia layout and instrumentation.
MG MGB Sports Roadster continue unchanged, however a fibreglass hardtop became optionally available during the year.

The Morris/Austin and M.G. 1100 series now has diaphragm spring clutches and an improved heating. The M.G. B is fitted with a 5-bearing crankshaft as used on the Austin 1800, and this is claimed to give the car "a new smoothness".
