200 (W 110): Differs from type 190c through the drilled on 2 litre engine with 2 carburetors, larger fuel tank, and more considerable tail ornaments. Front indicators has been moved from the wings to below headlights. Production from July.
230 (W 110): Successor of the type 220, but with 2.3 liter engine under W 110 range with short bonnet. Apart from the six-cylinder engine the same body type as 200. Production from July.
230S (W 111 IA): Externally almost the same body as previous 220 S, but with 2.3 litre engine, simpler interiors and hard glass instead of laminated glass windscreen. Production from July.
250S (W 108): A successor of the type 220 S has a larger engine with 7 crankshaft bearings and 14 inch wheels. Dual circut four-wheel disc brakes and hydropneumatic compensating spring for level adjustment are standard. Production from July.
250SE (W 108): Same as Type 250 S sedan, but with much more expensive fuel injection engine. Production from August.
250SE Coupé and Cabriolet (W 111) are the same as the 220 SE Coupé and Cabriolet. The difference is hidden under the bonnet. It uses the new, fuel injected 2.5 litre engine as the 250SE saloon. Production from August.
300 SEb (W 108): Same saloon as Type 250 S, but inherited by the famous 300 type ("Adenauer") alloy engine. The famous air suspension has been omitted in the model, reserved for the new 300SEL (W109) which hasn't been introduced yet but already is on the assembly lines. Production from August.
300SE (W112): from August reinforced rear axle and brake controller. This model was however end of prod. that month, since production of the new 300SEL (W 109) already began.
