Backed with fantastic achievements in sport competition, brilliantly engineered Bagheera enjoying great commercial success with 11,264 units placed on the market in 1974. Two versions are available. The cheaper Version I has steel wheels but the Version II offers light-alloy wheels, tinted windows, a heated rear window, inertia seat belts, reclining seats, an on-board watch and an optional electric windows.
The signature Bagheera Courrèges by fashion designer André Courrèges was exhibited at the Paris Show in October. The satin white bodywork is followed by white-and-gold interior. Tinted windows and electric windows are standard.

Tańszy model "Version I" ma stalowe koła i skromniejsze wyposażenie. "Version II" oferuje koła z lekkich stopów, przyciemniane szyby, ogrzewanie tylnej szyby, bezwładnościowe pasy bezpieczeństwa, rozkładane siedzenia, zegarek na desce rozdzielczej i opcjonalne opuszczane elektrycznie szyby boczne.
Bagheera Courrèges sygnowana przez znanego projektanta mody André Courrèges została wystawiona w październiku na salonie w Paryżu. Auto oferowane jest wyłącznie w białym kolorze z biało-złotym wnętrzem.

For third consecutive year Matra won the 24h Le Mans and for the second time become the World Champion for Makes. Jean-Luc Lagardère feels like he achieved most of his objectives set ten years earlier and in the face of oil crisis, in December he decided to withdrawn from competition.
