In March 1959 the Appia saloon third series was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show with new front end.
Zagato GTE is available with different rear axle ratio. A Lancia Appia Zagato was raced in the 1959 12 Hours of Sebring.
Another version derived by Italian coach builder and marketed by Lancia is the Lusso Berlina – a four-seater, two-door saloon by Vignale, inroduced by the end of last year in Turin.
