Niezależne przednie zawieszenie , hydrauliczne hamulce i doskonały, charakterystyczny silnik V4, czynią ten samochód naprawdę nowoczesnym.

The 1st series of Artena was end of prod. in the summer and replaced by the 2nd series. 1500 examples of the 1st series were made. The new car have modified engine mountings to reduce noise and vibrations.

Virtually the same changes apply to the bigger model Astura. It was also replaced by the series 2 in the summer. 496 examples of the 1st series were built.

The second set Dilambda (always in two models, the 227 to 229 long wheelbase and short wheelbase) begins in 1931 and continues in practice nearly two years, until the end of 1932.

The second series of Dilambda have Delawandre brake booster, different gear ratio, some changes in instrumentation and 16 x 45 tires. It is available with two different lengths: model 227 with long wheelbase (347.5 cm) and model 229, short wheelbase (cm 329) By the end of the year it was replaced by third series type 232 available with long wheel base only.
Introduced in the autumn the smallest Lancia Augusta feature typical for this firm chassis construction which has been developed even further. Even the pillars and the roof are now are part of the structure of the chassis/body. The car is equipped with independent front suspension and hydraulic brakes.
