The droop front reduces wind resistance but allows the headlamps to be flashed and "eyelids" retract to expose them fully at night. The engine has four overhead camshafts and six twin-choke carburetters. Upholstery is leather, windows are electrically operated. Brakes are ventilated discs with twin circuits.
