Within a very short time, Ferrucio Lamborghini, a young tractor manufacturer in Bologna, managed to establish himself as a car manufacturer. He had built a state-of-the-art factory for this purpose, and at the same time had a top-class engineer - Bizzarini involved in the development of a twelve-cylinder high-performance sports car. This initially with 3.5, then 4 liter capacity is built since 1964 and so far about 500 of them were made. The bodies were initially built by once world-famous but gone bankrupt last year company Touring Superleggera in Milan. Now Lamborghini manufactures them on its own. Last year the yopung company introduced a new, exciting Miura. The new "fighting bull" has also a V12 engine which is located transverse to the rear axle. The body of this extraordinary in many respects sports car comes Bertone and is already available for delivery.
