Zaprzestano produkcji modeli 541 z 6 cylindrowymi silnikami Austina.
Powstało 66 egzemplarzy C-V8 Mk I. Nowy C-V8 Mk II oferowany jest z jeszcze większą jednostką napędową Chryslera.

High performance luxury Jensen C-V8 Saloon was unveiled in the autumn of 1962. Features a fibreglass body similar to the 541 (discontinued in the summer) mounted on a tubular and boxed chassis, a Chrysler V8, 5916-cc, 305-bhp power unit, Torqueflite automatic transmission and disc brakes all round. Finish and interior appointments are to a very high standard. Top speed is 135 mph plus. Price £3392.
MkII from 1963 gets Selectaride adjustable dampers, and 335bhp 6.3 litre engine, giving 140 mph top speed.

Production of Volvo P1800 Coupé has been moved back to Sweden.
