J.B. 1949

The Automotive Co. of Australia, Northgate, Queensland.

Manufactured by Jeffress Bros, the J.B. Minor is a feature of the Queensland Industries Fair. In line with the current fad for miniature cars, it is a 3-wheeler 2-seater having, unusually, front-drive and rear steering. The engine is a 5hp 2-stroke twin and the body is by bus builder Athol Hedges. Production depend on a new foundry coming into use, but this did not materialise.
