Great Britain

Mark X przemianowano na 420 / 420 G , gdzie 420 symbolizuje pojemność silnika, a G wskazuje iż mamy do czynienia z limuzyną klasy Grand o większym rozstawie osi i większej mocy.
E-Type pojawił się w nowej wersji 2+2 z rozstawem osi zwiększonym z 244 do 267 cm i podwyższonej o 5 cm w Coupé linii dachu.
Jaguar 2.4 LITRE MARK 2; Six-cyl.; o.h.c.; 2,483 c.c.; 120 b.h.p.; £1,090 + £251 p.t. = £1,341
THIS speedy, sporty saloon continues to be one of the most popular on the road. It appeals specially to the motorist who wants a lot of motor car for his money, coupled with efficient design and robust performance. With the Jag. 2.4 model he gets all this, and something more a smooth, sure ride. Latest model, minus fog lamps, and with high grade synthetic upholstery instead of leather, scores the year's most dramatic price reduction.
Jaguar 420; Six-cyl.; o.h.c.; 4,235 c.c.; 255 b.h.p.; £1,569 + £361 p.t. = £1,930
SUCCESSOR to the S-type, re-styled inside and out. Step-up from 3.8 to 4.2 litres boosts power and flexibility on a car that was already mighty fast. Other improvements add to the pleasures of gracious living, Jaguar-style amid finest leather, quality carpets, polished veneers. Roadholding and riding comfort among the best there are. Still more powerful disc brakes give confidence. Power steering is improved.
Jaguar 420 G; Six-cyl.; o.h.c.; 4,235 c.c.; 255 b.h.p.; £1,814 + £414 p.t. = £2,238
CHANGES both inside and out are made to this spacious and elegant car. Externally: a revised and bolder radiator grille, and a chromium flash down each side. Interior additions include a padded screen rail above the instrument panel; the instrument panel is now inset in a padded surround; the clock is better positioned to be read by passengers; and the two front seats are given greater lateral stability.
Jaguar E-TYPE 2+2; Six-cyl.; o.h.c.; 4.235 c.c.: 265 b.h.p.; £1,857 + £427 p.t. = £2,284
NO need to send the children to boarding kennels; take them with you on high-speed holidays in the new family 2+2 E-Type. Higher roof line, wider doors, extra elbow room, and ample legroom for tall drivers make it a more convenient car all round. Interior is revised with lockable glove box, full width parcel shelf and Borg Warner automatic transmission is a new option. Two-seater still available for the fancy free.
