Unlike so many closed two-door high-performance cars, the Italian Iso Lele has ample space for rear seat passengers. Introduced last year, the Lele is based on the older Iso Rivolta chassis, and is similarly powered by an American Chevrolet Corvette V8 engine. The latest version is available with either a 300 or 350 h.p. edition of the engine, the more powerful being capable of more than 150 m.p.h., with sparkling acceleration. The striking coachwork is by Bertone and is a fine combination of good looks, aerodynamic excellence, and all-round visibility.
