Travelall – new model

Travelall

The new R-110 pickup is a handsome little rig. The clean lines of the grille, hood and front fenders are simple, but pleasing. Exterior chrome plating is used only sparsely, on the identifying logos and on the door handles. The 115 in wheelbase model feature a 6.5 foot pickup box, and cost $ 1,384.00.

The new Travelall is a 115-inch-wheelbase R-Series panel truck equipped with side windows and seats. A new tailgate and liftgate design is available on the Travelall; however, side by side rear cargo or 'ambulance' doors are also still available. The truck can be equipped eith two or three rows of seats and have two passenger doors. Access to the rear seats is gained by flipping up the passenger side of the front seat. A Travelall name badge is mounted on the front cowl directly below the International name badge. A few L-Series trucks were also produced with windows and seats in 1952. Prior to 1952, International station wagon type vehicles were mainly woodies, having wooden bodies produced by outside companies. A few K-Series panels in the latter 1940s were built with windows and seats and used by airlines to move people at airports.
