Fifty-three-and-one-half for three front seat riders is Hupmobile's offering at the shrine of aerodynamic design. Instead of hiding everything under a sweeping over-all cover, the Hupmobile has a sort of functional blending of the parts into the car-body; thus, the troublesome headlights are long-tailed into the profile, instead of being treated separately, or being sunk into the facade. The spare wheel is not hidden, hut half-submerged, so as not to interrupt the form-flow of the rear panel. A pilot-house windshield and extra-wide doors are featured. Stylish, but different enough to be recognizable – rare this year.
